Coventry born stand-up comedian Stella Graham fights to contain a gobby, aggressive inner self, watch the battle commence with hilarious consequences, with all the charm of a rusty mousetrap, 26-28 August at Camden Comedy Club.
StellaGram is a bullet train tearing through a GroundHog Day life. She’s a pressure cooker, barely keeping the lid on her rage, in order to survive.
Audiences in the UK, USA, New Zealand and Australia have tasted ballsy comedy from this, unladylike, half Sri-Lankan daughter of a Yorkshire woman.
Stella was nominated for Best Newcomer at the 2009 New Zealand Comedy Guild Awards and has performed at the NZ International Comedy Festival, Brighton, Adelaide and Edinburgh Fringe.
She has written comedy for Newsjack (BBC Radio 4 Extra), NZ TV3 panel show 7 Days, has worked on screen for NZ’s Juice TV, on-air for radio in England and NZ as well as making a podcast called The Comedy Hangover. Stella may look sweet, but she kills.
“If you’re a TV executive, drop what you’re doing and go see her now” The Skinny.
“Fun and original…..self-assured, likeable and, crucially, funny” – Broadway Baby.
